It is not even up for debate. Animals do fear death as much as humans. Multiple studies even show such results.

I well agree with you that animals are diverse and have their own quirks. But not the rest.

I won't discuss animal consciousness VS conciousness. I suggest you do read about this topic before going into a debate. But actually, I won't discuss this further with you as this itself is a topic that even scientists and experts struggles with.
