Does anyone like Metal music?

asesinodesuegras
I love metal, If you want to get into the more heavier and prog-ier side of metal I would recommend bands like Animals as Leaders, Periphery, Vitalism, After The Burial, Kublai Khan, Knocked Loose, Chelsea Grin, Infant Annihilator (maybe too heavy to start xD), Dealer... If you want other good music thats proggy I would recommend chon, polyphia, plini, Hail the sun, Guthrie Govan, owane https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWRcvnc_mE4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jpOBd949O4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zkm9rfkZI9w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3sPHdTYqmw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lprX1sikslc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aSX_hYpVXg and some brutal metal, just in case you like it... Some people will think is too much, after a while of listening to metal it just becomes the regular stuff xD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2EY6urC4tg

Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Angra, Shaman, Edguy, Avantasia, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater, Hangar, DragonForce, Pearl Jam, Kiss, Nightwish, Sepultura, Yngwie Malmsteen, Symphony X, Nirvana, Blind Guardian... these were part of my childhood. There's also Rage Against the Machine, but I don't like it. Even though their song quality is exceptional. By the why, I liked X 1999's intro by Myuji. It marked my childhood. (There is also the Dynasty Warriors soundtrack, mostly Metal) Angra, Shaman, Hangar and Sepultura are Brazilian bands. Nowadays I'm not into metal as much I was as a kid.

Also, my brother is a metal bass player. Byt the one that influenced me on Metal was my father. I started with Nirvana and then to Metallica and Megadeth, then there's Iron Maiden. Well, Tenacious D is kinda funny and there's the brazilian spoof band Massacration(all lyrics are comedy. A treasure trove for those who understand Portuguese).
