anyone else scared of the dark, and why?

i did this drawing of me with my nightlight aha i usually can't sleep without some type of light because i always get scared or creeped out when i'm in the dark by myself, which is probably my own fault since i listen to scary stories so much @o@ but my imagination is also rlly spooky sometimes,, i actually love being in the dark if i'm with a fren (that's one of the reasons i love sleepovers, i can sleep without a light hehehe) because i always feel safe if a friend is with me, i just feel scared alone. are any others like this?:o

I too find fear of the beasts doing inside the veil of darkness, and I find warmth in my heart through praying for gods grace.

A daring view that is. It is not about what lies within darkness itself but what it stirs inside our minds. Beings used to light we are after all.
