re:zero season two

oh man, you guys are going to be disappointed in s2 if you want more Rem. She's basically going to be a non-character for the rest of the series since at the end of s1 she got her existence devoured by the whale. leaving her essentially as a vegetable and erased from the memories of everyone aside from Subaru. They didn't show this on screen for whatever reason, but the first season left off right after the point where that happens in the LN, but before Subaru finds out what happened to her. I guess to leave the series on a lighthearted cliffhanger for s1? *shrug*
