Very interesting indeed. Yeah it went to a mix because some believe it was a species thing then went even further into sub species category. I don't think so either @redhawk. Until more evidence proving it comes out I don't buy it.

Spinosaurous is my absolute favorite and I know some people don't like the modern look with the smaller sail and more defined tail fin but I still love it

Idk imo smoller sail would be easier to move and direct your movements tbh. Isnt that what the sail was for? Since in their top speed its hard for them to curve, thats why they use the sail… I also really wanna see a definitive conclusion to that debate with scale / noscale/ feathers

Well there are many theories about the sail. One is that they work as heat regulator to help take in and disperse heat to the body while swimming. Another one is that since they were so large and had few predators it was use to attract mates or let others know the size and location of another. Another was that its sole purpose was similar to the dorsal fin of dolphins and sharks
