What’s your job like?

I go to college part-time and work at an animal shelter part-time also. That consists mostly of the small animals, on Thursday I was attacked by a ferret (much fun, they have VERY sharp teeth and claws ;-;) and also a bird. It might sound nice to have a birdie sitting in your hair and on your shoulder but IT IS NOT WHEN THEY PECK YOUR HEAD SO MUCH. I ended the day with a huge headache because of him. On the plus side I did get to pet a tooon of bunnies, KIND ferrets and even some rats! There's a hedgehog hospital there too but they're mostly wild so don't particularly like me. I really wanted to bring home a rat that I named Bandit but I think my mom might have kicked me out for it lmao. She loves the ones I have and doesn't want a baby to disrupt that. ^^

That's frighteningly accurate. The parrot in the aviary is vicious too ;-; The guy who works there was like ah, just brush him off and he flies away. Tried it and he just pecked my hand, the dude was like OH, he must really like you huh? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I just quit my part time job cuz new boss was really stupid and didnt care about his employees and talks down to everyone.

I've been working as an Information Technician for 12 years now. I prefer working with servers over interacting with my user base any day. Of course my job is about providing network services to users it irks me to no end when i receive trouble calls concerning any specific application and how to use it. i am an administrator providing "you" with what you need to get your work done that "you" should know how to use based on your job, it is not my job to know how to operate every application that we provide, my job is to assure that you have access and that what you need is working. but at the end of the day, i have to be nice and google that for them, as typically my supervisor would rather not deal with complaints about there IT demeaning the users. *rant, rant, rant*

I basically do tech support for Apple answering online tickets and stuff everyday. The good: I work from home and the pay's pretty decent for a remote job, there's lots of room for promotions or to grow in the company, we get a bunch of perks and discounts, we also aren't required to read from a script or anything lame like that which definitely makes interactions a lot less routine. I guess another cool thing is that I get to handle customers from all over the world pretty much too, it's pretty cool The not so good: The angry customers, they honestly aren't as frequent as I expected when I first started but man. Some days you just get them back to back and it's mentally exhausting. All in all, I enjoy my job. It's pretty decent.

If anyone really wants to know what my job is, they can ask me in PM if I know them well enough, but it's very simple. I show up at the hotel from 11PM-7AM. I just sit here on my computer until they tell me to do something. So that is why I can be on MO while I am at work.
