Being Otaku

my life used to be pretty boring i used to just play games most of the time but around last year i started watching anime because my friend recommended Bokusatsu tenshi dokuro-chan and The melancholy of haruhi suzumiya and i was like oh god this is awesome

my moms boyfriend, my sisters and everyone makes fun of me for liking anime and japanese culture but i just say what ever you dont have to like it I am proud to be an Otaku !

I'vebeen an otaku for seventeen years now and I'm not giving it up, ever! I've heard the stupid statement "why are you watching cartoons" before. This is not just a bunch of drawings, it is an art form which we love very much. Yay fandom ^_^

*flails arms* I LOVE BEING OTAKU IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! I have so much more to do now that I've been introduced to the world of Anime and I will NEVER look back!! X3

Ah, yes. The life of Otaku and Fujoshi. I may not be able to fully exhibit the lifestyles of an Otaku, but I do desire to do so. I may not have several manga books and anime DVDs on shelves, but I do read alot of manga and watch lots of anime online. While I'm stuck in this "NO OTAKU'S LAND", I'll make the best of it, until I'm able to move to a place where I can fully express myself as an Otaku. I don't hold back my Otaku Nature, it's there's no one to talk to who is interesting in anime and manga. Yare, yare.....as Shikamaru Nara would say, "This town is such a drag....". Hope for me my Otaku frieds...

its fun being a otaku iv allwased gotten grip for loveing anime people allwas telling me its for kids then i just show them one of the many OVAs from the 80s theres nothing like showing sum one megazon 23 part to to get them to stop calling anime for kids lol

I'm an otaku,with all the negative implications; Even among my "otaku" friends,I'm almost always the most hardcore by far. I revel in it though.Being an Otaku's awesome.
