Dumb shit fallacie

So a friend tried to give me the If Pinocchio said his nose will grow would he being lying and his nose would grow but then he’d be telling the truth which would be a contradiction I then argued by him saying his nod will grow is just saying “it will grow” and doesn’t specify a time but it is just an inevitable statement with no real truth or lie attached to it that is direct enough to be considered a lie or not a lie but as a possibility that it will happen. Where as he was implying immediate growth after saying those words which I argued it would not happen immediately and also he is friggin dumb for pulling this old ass debate for being contradictory and to sound intelligent for the sake of pointing out contradictions and not the actual implications that the debate on one of the dumbest subject people use to argue about in elementary. Personally I also gave the argument that Pinocchio would also never say something like this ever. Do any of you know any lame ass dumb shit people debate over about and I’m not talking like big important subjects just lame shit contradictory things like this where they get blown out of porpotion.

The spell is what triggers the nose growing, and the only way for the spell to know what is or not a lie, is if Pinocchio says a conscious lie. He has to be aware he is lying to work, so paradoxes or lying about things he doesn't know should do nothing at all. I like those kind of "dumb" premises.
