Castlevania Anime Launch!

Honestly, besides Trevor I didn't care for the other characters. Armitage's delivery is excellent and he kept things funny and interesting as best he could. The art was nice, but any animation that didn't involve the whip was kind of bad. That last fight scene though was great to watch. I also didn't like how utterly incompetent the Church was, I'm fine with an evil church but for the love of all that is holy make them semi-dangerous in addition to their evil. Like they really don't know how to kill all those beasts? Then Trevor comes along and suddenly the peasants are killing these beasts like professional soldiers. That and the whole "sleeping soldier" mystery was answered if you just looked at the cover art or were somewhat paying attention during the first episode, they didn't need to drag that plotline for 4 episodes. That being said, I do want to see what they do with the second season and I want more Dracula.

I loved the Anime! I will be extremely excited if they do a Soma arc. Dawn of Sorrow was one of my favs from the franchise.

Guys, apologies for going off the face of the earth. Y'know how it goes sometimes. BUT There is a Castlevania Season 2! I agree the episodes were short And things may have seemed rushed for plot purposes developing into the next season. And I may be wrong, but the art style ( or maybe animation style) seemed different? I haven't watched it yet, trying to have high hopes.
