Choosing what to like.

i just like what i like, i only consider something good if i think its good. otherwise its either bad or i have no opinion. my mother has yet to convince me most of her movies are "good" but she keeps trying. but it will never work. good is subjective. and to me. some of her favorite movies, which are labeled classics, i find to be absolutely terrible.

I usually form my own opinion on most things but I'm open minded enough to give suggestions a fair chance. I won't force myself to like something to fit in or make my friends happy. I feel like it is better to be honest with a friend and let them know you aren't interested in a certain topic they share with you rather than fake it for their sake. More often than not they appreciate the sentiment in trying it at the very least :P

Alot of things I involve myself in is cause others do it, just the way it is, but I dont think its necessarily a bad thing. Games for example, I dont enjoy FPS games very much but when playing with some friends, I can enjoy myself. However it can be a bit of a negative thing to your own well being, you'll fit in but could feel like your 'losing yourself' and start questioning yourself.

LMAO...i like everything soly cuz i personally like it. i may have been introduced to some things by others, but in the end i like those things cuz those things appeal to me, not becuz of some popularity contest. i barely no anyone else that likes power metal as much as i do LOL. if i dont like a movie or game or something, i wont play or watch it. so i can 100% say i like what i like, becuz *i* like it, and not becuz others do. i like the anime and music i like, becuz the emotions in them and sounds etc. resonate with my soul, pull at my heart strings, and make me happy.

I dont ever tell someone I like or dislike something because they like or dislike something. For one, why? It just digs you in a hole. Two, why lie? It just gives you more things to talk about if you all dont like the same thing! Think about it lol.

The only thing I do that I don't enjoy doing is school, but that's a given lol. Other then that, I just do what I know I enjoy. I don't feel I need to do things that others do, just to fit in because I have my group of bros that I fit in with.
