I've read the first 2 Warhammer books. Horus Rising. I enjoyed the Space Marines kicking ass on planet Murder. But I found Warmaster Horus to be.....very unlikable.

I definitely cannot call myself a fan of the Warhammer series since I know barely any of the stupidly in-depth lore and all that - but nonetheless I find the universe very well crafted and fascinating. Its a shame most Warhammer games are strategy type stuff, they really aren't my bag so stuff like Warhammer 40K Space Marine or Vermintide are the type of stuff I enjoy.
