IQ Score, Know Yours? Mean Anything?

Well put Spike, some of what you discuss sounds similar to me, I have a near Photographic Memory, and I can take apart and put together almost anything, If I see something and I have the tools to I can design it. Its like I can picture in my head almost anything I have seen and I can use that to help put things back together. Even the Gifs I post alot of times I can picture exactly what I want to post in my head from a show and get extremely frustrated if I cant find it. In my life I have built Boats, Apprenticed as a Electrician, done some minor plumbing work via memories of a test I once took, Built Bikes, Welding, Graphics Design, 3D Part Design, Animation, Military Target design, Programming, Automotive Technician, Web Design, Culinary arts, Firearm Manufacturing as a CNC Machinist, Management, Carpentry and Locksmithing. I think I just spread myself out too much.

I don't... and no, means nothing. Analytical intelligence on its own is worthless. Knew some people in the "genius" category and GOD those people were dumb. Wisdom and experience are worth far more imo... and emotional intelligence is what brings you to fame and success in our society.

I got 152, but I think the whole notion of IQ is just crap, i'm not any smarter than anyone else, I just work a little bit harder and get slightly better grades sometimes, it seems to me that to base someone's whole intelligence on a number based on pseudo-science or even on science is to simplify their being. It feels to me as though people with high IQs just use them to lord it over other people, or they're used to promote eugenics, so even if they are true they're only used in order to justify crappy behaviour. Even if IQ is an actual thing, its best to ignore it, and judge based off of someone's actual actions, rather than a number they got on some test. In reality actual knowledge can only come from hard work, and good teaching, not from innate abilities or from some number.

I've taken some online ones and I typically get around 140, but I haven't taken an official one yet. I will eventually, but eh. I look at IQ as more of a capacity to learn vs simple intelligence.
