I have a lot of favorite animes samurai champloo, re:zero, full metal alchemist, dimension w, grimgar, bokurano, evangelion. izetta the last witch, berserk, all out. cheer boys. trigun, wolf's rain, rwby, arata, kiba, ixion saga dt, air gear, tokyo magnitude 8.0, parasyte the maximum, ajin, kabaneri of the iron fortress, yuri on ice, hajime no ippo, school live, HOTD, gantz, queen's blade, mad bull 34, blue submarine, golden boy, gto, dragon ball z, bleach, kiznaiver, kill la kill, gintama, gurren lagann, jin roh, the boy and the beast, shelter, mm!, all out, the breaker, endride, one piece, sonic x, eureka seven, soul eater, now and then here and there, bokurano, magical shopping arcade, and magical girl raising project

YOU CANT MAKE ME PICK ONE!! ..... Though if i really had to, it would have to be SAO and its more of how the story goes for me then anything else.

if i had to pick it would be beck mongolian chop squad it's not well known but it's definitely worth watching if you give it a chance.

Either Kiznaiver or Baccano. Love the artstyle and plot for those two as well as how they both focus on character development.
