Mayoiga It's not terrible per say, just really all over the place and boring. Although it had it's so bad it's good moments which made it not terrible. I don't think I'll ever see another anime where a military otaku is being chased by a giant ant with a silicone breast implant sitting on it's back

^Ghost Stories: an anime so bad when it came the US the dubbing company had FULL CONTROL The anime was actually very much liked in Japan. But then after it was brought in the US they realized that americans knew nothing about yokai and they thought it wouldn't sell well if the children weren't familiar with them (Pokémon and Digimon sold well and the creatures aren't american folklore either so I'd disagree with that) so they basically made an abridged series out of it in the dub. They'd rather tell everyone that the original story is terrible instead of admitting they made a dumb decision. Both the dub and the sub are good imo, if you don't like it, it comes to down to taste because in no way this is a terrible anime. A terrible anime is more like First Squad. Code Geass Akito the Exiled was horrible too. FMA The Sacred Star of Milos, Gantz, Requiem for the Phantom, Yumekui Merry, Psycho Pass, Tokyo Ghoul, Dusk maiden of amnesia... you thought stuff like Naruto was terrible? Naruto is bad but it's not the bottom of the barrel.
