Japanese name?

I have a very unique name that translates to Japanese, yet every few months the translation changes. Can someone with knowledge of the Japanese language help me find out if it's just an error?

Oh!! Well first off what is your name? Most English names do not have a direct translation, however that's where katakana comes in. I could translate it to katakana very easily.

Since Japanese is based in syllabary I just gotta chop up your name in to its basic sounds. It might not have any meaning in Japanese though.

However if your name is like " river " or " rain" or a name that also serves as a noun there will be. Direct translation.
