The AK is overrated. What makes people buy it is that 1. A lot of people think it looks cool 2. It's iconic 3. It's cheap and the bullets are cheap (It's literally the assault rifle version of the Mosin Nagant. people buy it because it's cheap) You can get one in Africa for around $40 and even cheaper if you go to the Honduras. The only AK variant I like is the IMI Galil used by the Israeli Defense Force

AK is a good platform, just not in America. 7.62x39mm, isn't a good caliber anymore though, a pioneer, but was later replaced in Afghanistan. I will debunk the myth, the first time I loaded my old AK, I had a double feed. They do jam. -_-'

@Otaku The thing I hate about the AK is that even though I say it's overrated.... it's actually really good. Even the Chinese knock offs are really good. Like amazingly good. $40 for that? It's a steal. The recoil and firerate are extremely high, but automatic fire is a waste of ammo anyway. @Neko Was the alligator Islamic?
