Doodles

Honestly I used to draw in regular lined notebooks, never got good with any editing software after I got out of Web Design school.

I actually find it easier to draw on paper, but computers are definitely more forgiving and versatile. In fact, the whole reason I even started drawing on the computer was so I could practice without wasting huge amounts of paper, and I remember the first time I drew something on paper again after spending so much time doing digital doodles I was like "Whoa, when did I get this good?" Not that I was all that great, there was just a significant amount of progress that I didn't even know I made because I was using a completely different medium the whole time. Incidentally, I use Clip Studio Paint for all my digital stuff now, and the painting with the mushrooms is almost entirely done with the default "transparent watercolor" brush. I'll also admit that I don't really know what I'm doing and it's mostly just one large experiment.

Thats really the only way you learn, bought a Microsoft Surface to experiment some last year but I haven't really to be honest. Learning how to draw on a computer is better then paper because it makes it easier to make adjustments and more perfect your work. I also Highly recommend the Note series of phones by Samsung, Autodesk Sketchbook is like a dumb down version of Photoshop that you can use with your phone so your never without a canvas.

It looks more like Tooru than Miku, to me at least *___* Now I kinda want to draw chibis... but I have two drawings I'm already working on ;-;
