Good thing im not overly sensitive. A white dude today made a joke, he was holding my fan and was like "i feel like a slave owner on the porch with this fan just watching people work" it wasnt directed at me but still. Any "heritage" toting person would have flipped out. I just returned it with a joke (non racial), because it really doesnt hold any weight.

I've always had parents, government or student housing to live in. I recently sent off my first applications for a lease. I'm so excited. If we get it my sister and I are gonna live our best lives in a two bedroom unit near the CBD.

I mean he did say he wasnt gonna say it so he i knew he wasnt trying to be racist. Humor is humor as long as it isnt meant to hurt people. If you are just joking about someone thats ok but laughing at the expense of others is just evil.
