Anyone could be kira tbh, we dont have a master detective like L to guess any single person out of trillions of people. But in the off chance you WERE to be suspected it would be very hard to prove innocence.

Alright i did a little googling MySpace was creates in 2003, the death note manga started in december of 2003, Facebook was created in 2004 Taking all of this into account if kira had used Facebook things would have been a lot simpler Also think about how easy it would be to murder people with Facebook, full names and pictures Im just saying given the reliance on social media nowadays a loooooot of people would be fucked I propose a new 2020 version of death note where instead of a little journal, it's a tablet.

I sorta wish they remade death note and not that crappy one shot with minoru tanaka. I want a full fledged battle of wits, the ending was anticlimactic.

Maybe death note vs death note would be good. Like a good and evil side. One person who wishes to fix the corrupted world and another who wishes to use death note to become god. Almost like different versions of kira, the kira who started out as someone fixing the world and the one who ended up trying to be a god of the new world.
