where are dem effeminate boys at?

I wonder how often that really works. Sure you can get it ready if you see someone suspicious walking up on you or harassing you and feel they might try something. But anyone with a premeditated plan to attack/rape you is more likely to grab you from behind or attack in a group. I find that situational awareness and keeping an eye on your surroundings, or better yet, not walking alone to be the best way to avoid a situation. I've been homeless and on the streets before so I had to learn certain things about how to avoid trouble, even though I'm not a girl. I did carry a knife in one situation but that was only in case of a last ditch do or die situation. I wore a hoodie and trenchcoat in that area to purposefully look more potentially dangerous since I'm not a big guy. Potential attackers are like dogs looking for weakness, if you look nervous/weak/scared, they are more likely to attack. If you are a girl walking through a potentially dangerous area, it may be best to cover up and dress more androgynous if you don't have other options. But trouble can happen anytime and anywhere. Aggressive drunk guys and such, which is where pepper spray/stun guns may be more effective.

@neko you underestimate the victims.. Guys who are on their own usually don't have the guts to approach me. They take pics and vids.. or stalk me. Which also sucks but I don't really care as long as it's in a crowded area and nowhere near my home. I was cornered 3 times by groups when I lived in Berlin. A good, focused hit in the "sensitive area", some 360 degree pepperspray and fast running saved me every time. So far I never had to use my Stun Gun... but if I had to? No hesitation.
