Shin Megami Tensei/Persona anyone?

Persona 4 definitely has the better all around cast. Like I love all the main cast except for maybe Yukiko since I didn't find her all that interesting or intriguing. Now Persona 3 had a lot more of an "epic" feel to it... Like I felt the weight of the big city and you having to save it from the shadows wandering in the mysterious dark hour, exploring your school which turned into the spooky tower "Tartarus", etc. more than a Murder Detective case in a small town. Of course I could go more into it but that would be borderline spoiler territory. Persona 3's soundtrack still does more for me than Persona 4's but their REALLY close in terms of music quality.

I respectfully disagree on Persona 4 having the better cast. While they were a more tightly knitted group compared to P3's cast, P3's cast had to go through a ton more development throughout the game and that's what makes them more interesting to me. Even Ken who I dislike had something to add to the table. What it lacks in social links with your team, you really do seem them come together over the course of the story.

I don't know if it's just me but I would've liked to have Social Links with Junpei, Akihiko, Shinjiro, etc. then like Kenji or some shit. In the Female Route of P3P you can Social Link with them but in the Male Route you can't.

I am a huge fan of it and never spent a day without even talking about it for a few seconds. I am actually a fan of P3 and P4 but Persona and Persona 2 takes the cake on emotional story and a few more references towards reality. Persona is the rpg that gives me most inspiration, especially with one character. There's something about Persona that leaves a bit more fulfillment to my soul than any other rpgs played. Persona 5 is the game I am waiting for!
