Your stuff is pretty cool looking, Penna. Maybe I'll try it sometime. As for color choices, trial and error is probably the best way. That's what I did with Yugure. Now Allison knows to not make the obi such an obnoxious color. hehe. I also do it while I'm painting: I mix a color on my pallet and then put a bit on a notecard & hold it up to the work, or put some on the unused portion of the canvas. If I don't like it, I either try to add to it, or use it to make browns.

Yeah I do that kinda process a lot too. Fill tool in part. .... Don't like it? Ctrl+Z. (undo) Lots and lots of Ctrl+Z..... Also thanks Jack.

Although I think I don't use of most of the features. >< I'm so scared about making mistakes with colors that's why if I use markers I use a notecard first because it doesn't always look like the color it's advertised as.

aww...*blushies. Glad to help. & I know, right?! I sometimes like to use Sharpies, and they're always so much darker on paper than on the caps. I've never used the quick fix button.... mostly because I didn't know which one it was. XD And I completely agree about the sharpies. >< I really need to look more at both of your works.

I should have a link to my deviantart page on my profile if you're interested. It's just kinda okay imo but it's the best stuff I've managed so far. I am interested in someday using markers like you two but I'm currently buying copics to do so. Got a lot left. Till then, I'm sharpening my skills on digital lol.

I want the whole copic collection one day. Right now I just have flesh tones because my scanner is mean to colored pencils. >< The whole collection is about $2,000 though.... I need to save up for it. XD

O.O I was under the impression that there were almost a thousand colors? And that were sets A-F or something like that.

There's something like 364 colors. Split between packs of 72 through the letters. I have pack B and a couple 6 packs. Few spares.
