@Anna Y'know what, I've avoided this elsewhere, but it's honestly not that big of a deal. I'm sure a lot of people on here have similar stories, at any rate. Essentially, an uncle of mine, who was a young teenager at the time, molested me from the ages of three to five. He also showed me pornography, told me he'd hurt my folks if I told anyone, and showed me my grandparents' closet around Christmas in order to teach me Santa wasn't real. I mention that last one only to emphasize the fact that I pretended to believe in Santa for several years after that just to spare my parents' feelings. Basically I grew up way too fast because he stole my childhood from me. Anyway, I've dealt with it and even forgiven him, and it's not like I don't have a lot of good memories from childhood too. I just typically avoid it because it's an unpleasant topic, but ya'll are big boys and girls, so I think you can handle it.
