Cosplay! Have you? Will you? Give us ur opinions!

Cosplay is cool. As long as you capture the essence of the character. Like some of these cosplayers I have no idea what they are, even if I watched the anime. Others while they don't match up are awesome. Got to love how I told twilight sparkle that she looked good and she turned out to be a he and I had to explain "Your playing a girl character, so first thought is girl, which I am not wrong. It just isn't your real gender. And you still look good." Truthfully that unable to tell the gender or not sure what gender to call them, (pronouns) is the hardest and scariest part. I would love to cosplay, but I haven't the money for it.

I have never cosplayed but I've seen it at cons and Its really fun to be someone else for a day and hopefully this year or the next its something I will be doing to instead of watching all the fun happen

Cosplay every year at Halloween. I was the 11th Doctor from Doctor Who last year. I used to do medieval reenactments in the SCA. I was a 12th century Samurai one year. It is fun going into a grocery store as a group all in costume....makes for fun conversations. Tip for the guys, if you are in shape wear a costume that needs tights, girls dig it.

I have actually been cosplaying for a couple years now and I love it! I've started making and crafting props (not that they're any good haha but I'm working on it) but I still don't trust myself making clothes so I either buy them or composite cosplay haha and since I've been at this for a couple years, I have a pretty good list so far I have: Ise Nanao from Bleach, Yin from Darker than Black (I saw the Hei up there and I thought that was awesome ^^ haha), Gareki from Karneval, Sei from Dramatical Murder, Rin Okumura from Blue Exorcist, Ratio from Hamatora, Mikorin from Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Shuuya Kano from Mekaucity Actors/Kagerou Project, Guren Ichinose from Owari no Seraph, Nine from Zankyou no Terror/Terror in Resonance, Ginko from Mushishi, Izuki Shun from Kuroko no Basket, Tsukiyama Shuu from Tokyo Ghoul, Slaine Troyard (prisoner version) from Aldnoah Zero, and Decim from Death Parade ^^ and the next con I'm going to I think is Anime Boston next Spring so I'm thinking about who to get ready/pick to bring for that haha one I'm considering doing next is Karma Akabane from Assassination classroom and I'm not sure who else yet P.S. I don't have almost any of my cosplay pictures on my profile at the moment sorry D; but after my laptop is fixed I probably will put them up haha

I really want to cosplay, but can't find a way cause my parents forbid it...:/ they said it's just a waste of time and money... T______T

I've always wanted to cosplay but I never had the funds to do so. Even if I did I probably wouldn't look very good in costume.
