What got you into anime?

When I was young it was Naruto, Slayers, and Spirited Away. But Angel Beats was the one that really got me back into anime again while in High School.

i had seen one punch man, liked it and forgot anime existed til a friend told me to watch naruto, i liked naruto, but quit after a few episodes. he recommended one piece instead, watched a bit and liked it. then i saw tokyo ghoul and loved it because i was an edgy teenager. then i started watching higurashi no naku koro ni and after that SAO then i began really loving anime and now i have about 400 titles ._. now i am just watching whats new and a silent voice over and over again (12th rewatch completed yesterday, love that movie :D)

I got into anime in middle school when one of my teacher's introduced me to manga then when i got home i searched more about anime and got into it from there

School trip, went to a book store with a group of friends to buy manga lul. Was convinced to buy some too, ended up buying Blood Lad, enjoyed it bought more, got some anime recommendations too, ended up watching Highschool of the Dead and HighschoolDxD and down the rabbit hole we go till the point where you finally find hentai..

Adult Swim. My mom was watching her shows in the living room when I got bored and went to her bedroom to turn on Cartoon Network. Adult Swim was already on and Bleach was the first anime that I watched and fell in love with. I also watched Fullmetal Alchemist and Inuyasha shortly after that.

I was really young and stumbled upon an anime channel that we used to have back in the 2000's. I loved it. I still remember I used to watch Gravitation and be mesmerized and get happy and cry together with the characters.
