Hentai. Who thought this was a good idea?

There is a correlation between the availability of porn and the prevalence of rape. However, during the time of that study, there was also a noticeable decrease in the amount of violent crimes in general. Let's not get ahead of ourselves by claiming watching hentai lowers rape. I do agree that hentai does provide a safe outlet for stress relief. It is harmless. The term rape culture is a bad one. It tells us that men somehow have an ingrained learned system of belief and behaviors that causes them to rape. It is counterproductive because it loops all men together, dismissing any chance for an all encompassing discussion between the sexes about rape. Edit: I do believe porn lowers rape, but I believe there is not yet enough evidence to back that claim.

I was using the term to speak to them in a way they can understand. I could have phrased my posts better to avoid using it.

@lordragna I don't understand? I never said the claim was outlandish. I was agreeing with Jinsei, but adding some more information of studies done on rape and porn. There is evidence to support it.
