A simple four question survey to poll the users on here, if I may do so.
What is the main reason you joined the site?
Do you have any expectations out of this site?
How do you feel about the conversations on here for the most part?
When coming to this site did you have a social circle outside from this?
Edit I appreciate the answers that everybody has given thus far.

Finally, a rare but logical thread that I can relate to~! Thanks Yu~!
1. To make new friends with people who have similar hobbies.
2. No, it's full of people who thinks others as competition in finding a mate. Not to mention those who are rude & mentally unstable.
3. It leads to nowhere &/or a dead end.
4. Yes, mostly professionals that does not share the same hobbies.

    1. Well X amount of years ago I finally felt like I was over my last relationship and realized I didn't have anyone to talk to anymore.
2. The only expectation I had for this site was that there'd be other people who had a thing for anime and the like. And that it does in fact have.
3. If you're talking about conversations I myself have here, there's no feelings. My reply style is hit & run. If you mean how do I feel about everyone else's conversations, well they can be pretty amusing at times.
4. I have neither a circle of friends online or the real world.

    1. To find people who share a common interest
2. My only expectation was to find people who like talking about games and anime. And even though some don't like or don't have much time to talk, they still share their views and their likes.
3. The conversations in the general forum are repetitive and tend to either end abruptly or be amusing
4. small circle who don't share common interest outside of gaming.
