Ideas You Can't Get Out of Your Head

Totally stole this from another forum but I thought it might be cool to get into. "All artists, no matter the medium we practice in, suffer from one common issue: coming into contact with an idea that just won’t go away. Sometimes, what prevents us from using these ideas is that we’re convinced that they’re too stupid to work. And sometimes we’re so excited about them and need to tell someone else about them just to feel proud. I thought that this would be an appropriate thread for that. Post about any ideas that you currently have, whether it’s an idea for a story, artwork, etc."

Fine, I'll start then geeze. I had this idea for a cartoon called a hot dog named jim about this conscious hot dog who doesn't remember why he is the way he is and lives in present day real world. He somehow stumbles upon a job as a mascot or sign flipper to draw in customers to this hot dog shop and rooms with a young cook who works there. I kind of thought it was just too silly to ever be anything real so I never did anything about it but I still doodle characters that I had thought up from time to time.

I think I do suffer this too... I had gotten some ideas inspired by dreams too, and refined and wrote them down in notepad files... but ended up never getting anywhere with them. So... they're just kind of stuck in my mind as things I'd LIKE to do a game/story/visual novel with... but am way too lazy to do. Still, no matter how much I procrastinate, I still can't stop thinking of them. I can't forget them. I'm pretty sure it'd be boring for others too, unless I further refined and added to it, which I'm too lazy to do.

2 years ago I came up with this idea for a manga about an 18 yr old girl who inherits magic powers from her grandmother. Then other students from the school also inherit powers from their deceased family members. The male lead can do all kinds of fire attacks. He also specializes in karate and is a huge ladies man. I only have a name for the female lead. I call her Akane. Her best friend whom she has know since grade school can collect all kinds of information on bad guys with her state of the art laptop. This first episode consisted of Akane discovering she has powers and the only girl in the school who doesn't like her challenges her. The authorities are so frightened by her arch nemesis that they let it happen. I was shooting for a Action/Comedy/Supernatural/Drama. I got stuck and gradually quit. Besides my drawings are mediocre at best.

You could probably do it as a written story, and later on if you improved or find someone who can draw it, make it that way. XD

i am right now writing a novel about a Demon king who was born into a family that were once the rulers of hell they had been defeated and become a legend one day his father Satan kills the Demon kings mother and the Demon king tries to find his place in the world while struggling with betrayal death war and love i only do like a pages worth a day and i ve been at it for seven months not even half way there yet his name is Damian i have tried writing over novels but i just scrap them and never do them again
