Shirring? That's on the back of some dresses, but it isn't painful.

Obviously imma guy but I adore Lolita fashion. It's really attractive to me especially if you can pull it off and play the part.

@onigoto Lol playing the part isn't a requirement. For the girl whos wearing it, all that matters to her is if she likes it.

I'm assuming he means like, drinking tea and walking ladylike... Actually it's easier to just show a video. xD

Ah okay! Like a lifestylist ^-^ I would love to be like that (when I'm older at least). I lack money and time, although I do go and meet with my lolita community sometimes. I've never been to a tea party (yet since I'm going to the Dream Fantasy Theater event in Orlando).

I would enjoy having that many dresses too... The girl in the video must be really rich or have the ability to sew or something. XD
I've never really met anyone with a particularly "lolita lifestyle" though. Mostly just normal girls who like to wear it sometimes. It could be fun to do a "tea time" play. Just for fun, nothing stuffy or strict.

@Kohagura That's Milky Fawn from the Sydney lolita comm. She says she had an actual habit of hoarding. Sadly, she's not into lolita fashion anymore and sold the majority of her dresses late last year. She was one of my lolita inspirations, too so I'm sad she left.
But yeah, most lolitas just wear it sometimes or just for conventions and meetups.
