good less well known anime

Shinsekai yori was really cool. I really liked the anime. I recently tried looking at the manga though... and yeah I don't recommend the manga unless you like juicy loli hentai. The anime did a good job at changing it to appeal to both genders. I don't know if these are "unknown" but they aren't really "mainstream". A mix of sci-fi and romantic tragedy. If you liked Kuroshitsuji, I recommend the Book of Circus and Book of Murder, which are additional manga adaptations to the first series.

Alright, so I'm not too sure what is classified as unknown anime, so for this recommendation list, I am recommending the anime that have below 100 users according to MO. A lone, virgin witch by the name of Maria hates war, and vows to do whatever it takes to prevent it. Koro Senei is a monster that destroyed half of the moon and if the class doesn't kill him by their graduation, he will destroy the world! A story that revolves heavily around morals, it will surely grow onto you quickly. BTW: Long live tentacles!

Assassination Classroom is an anime? I recently saw something about a live action movie called that, but had no idea it had an anime. XD The plot sounds interesting, but by tentacles, is this an ecchi involving tentacle rape/groping? I don't think I'd be able to handle that. DX

I would think if it's something not many people talk about or mention. Anime like Naruto or SAO are anime that just about everyone knows, so they wouldn't count as "less known". XD Oh, I forgot to mention Kino's Journey. I rarely see people talk about that, but it's really interesting. Exploring worlds where different "laws" apply. The main character is someone I really love too.
