Katsucon 2015

Haha my friend and lady friend was stuck on the reg line. I was on the pre-reg for maybe an hour. The line keeps getting worse, good thing next year I'm going to magfest, katsucon is becoming nazicon with all their rules then they try to push it off as the hotel rules so people don't hate on them.

I would have pre-reg'd last year but my job had me scheduled to work that weekend, until about a week out from the con. I thought the rules were decent enough for the most part, my biggest complaint would be the random enforcement of them. Although I've been to cons that were ridiculously strict (although that was the venue) and others where the rules were little more than "be good to each other" lax. Having to deal with a "special" hotel or convention center employee was another frustration but not so much con related I suppose.

Yeah I hate the randomly enforced rules at Katsucon and when confronting either the staff of the hotel or the Con they send you on a wild goose chase. It was frustrating for both years so me and my group are done as it seems the con is just progressively getting worse. So next year we're going to MagFest and going to enjoy the Nerf gun battle =D.
