First Crush/Love

So I was reading this manga the other day, (Half and Half), and the first chapter was pretty much typical reunion with first crush. I'll avoid spoilers for the most part, but the first chapter has these lines near the end "I guess you really shouldn't meet your first crush." after a series of unfortunate meetings. It then made me remember a couple of years ago when I was bored and realizing the all powerful internet was at my hands decided to look up some old people from my past. After a few hours I ended up looking up my first crush. We were childhood friends when I was 7-10, and she was the sweetest tomboy girl I ever knew, she was really active in sports, played the oboe, and had long braided hair. I have to admit, I didn't want to judge by appearances or without talking to her again, but I died a little inside at what I found, she was then working as a pole dancer/stripper, and her myspace pics along with showing her workplace attire, had some lovely pictures of her with her boyfriend who looked like an Eminem wannabe. Random chatter because I now lol at the above, anyone else experience anything similar with looking up first crushes? If you've never tried beware of what you might find... lol

I didn't have a situation quite like that, but I tried to find a past girl I knew......and even though I remembered ALL of our friends from then.......she had forgotten ALL ABOUT me. Man......that just bites..........at least she seemed to be doing ok......

Haha, yeah, it's all good as long as they're still alive and happy. I never talked to her, but I think it would probably hurt worse to be forgotten than to find out she is a stripper.

Well Im still in love with my online BF, who I cant have because he chose someone else. Now you mention manga, the situation I expected was like the one Ikuno wants with Kitano and Ryoko in Angel Densetsu

When I was in elementary there were two girls across the street from me that took turns being my girlfriend every other day. lol I just facebooked one of them to see what she looks like now. But going any farther than that would just be awkward.
