was destiny a let down for you?

idk what theyre doing or whats going on i know one of the lead writers left for what reasons i dont think were fully explained there were isusses on the story then when i did that moon glitch or whatever you wanna call it and found dead ghost and a working teleporter something felt wrong the game is fun and i undertsand that if they wouldve stalled the release of the game it would cause serous problems but maybe that wouldve been the better route rather then whats happening in my group of friends(6-7) i was the last one to buy deastiny now im the only one who still owns the game the fans and or players are leaving fast and soon i feel the dlcs wont matter when all its giant fan base is nearly gone

destiny is shit, no gun skill/op weapons and classes #CODisLife

I honestly dont care at all about single player or the campaign its all about multiplayer

The lead writer left to go be a writer for the Game of Thrones tv series....at least that's what I've heard. And the issues with the story come from the fact that the ENTIRE STORY-LINE is done from the viewpoint of an EXO...you're only playing ONE of the races story-lines (at least if you were talking about continuity problems then that's why there's continuity problems) I'm sure the game will survive until these next few expansions come along but it's already a losing battle for them due to everyone leaving the game from lack of content or just lack of enjoyment from re-playing the content. They didn't even need to stall the release of the game to add the content, in fact the BETA version was more of a complete game than is out now...

also it feels theres alot of things that feel either random or something missed like am i the only one who thinks there was supposed to be a race mode or something in that area becouse when i beat the vault of glass one of my rewards was a fast and more durable sparrow at first i was like "COOL" then it hit......why do i really need this???

There may be one introduced later on it was part of the game concepts but I'm not sure if they'll ever actually get around to implementing it considering they're having such a hard time releasing parts of the actual game. Like I've said before they basically gutted the game before it's release. There was a lot more story involved and everything made a lot more sense in the BETA.

I love the game but it does feel like something is missing but like some others have said the game was scraped before the release so it's in a way incomplete. I first thought that Saturn and Mercury where going to be in the game but it was cut along with the lush Earth part. I also felt that I could make my own weapons and armor by using part that I found but instead you can only upgrade. The color of my clothes suck and the lack of facial hair sucks to.
