What are the Longest Series?

The longest I've ever heard of is of course Sazae-san, which has been on air since 1969 and by all accounts still ongoing, which puts its episode count well above 3000 (which aired in 2008). The longest show I've watched would be PreCure; despite having different characters for each unique season all the seasons do take place at around the same time and on the same Earth. 435 episodes watched so far as I need to finish the last bit of DokiDoki before moving on to Happiness Charge.

First really long anime I recall seeing was saint seiya. but yeah if having different seasons counts than the longest I've seen would probably have to be PreCure. I've almost seen all of it and the only season of precure I haven't seen yet is DokiDoki.
