I feel insulted...

No one should be upset about being short. For the important things, height doesn't really matter much. As the old saying goes, everyone is the same height when they're horizontal.

You are all taller than me, i'm only ... well my driver's license says 5'2, but I had to get the 5'0 length gown for graduation because the others were too tall....

Short is super cute anyway. To me, at least. The shorter the more adorable. ;v; Sometimes I wish I were shorter - but it's already hard enough to reach some things as it is. xD

Rori, imma tell you something bout here, and its gonna be really honest. Dont talk to people who arnt active on the forums. Most of them are creepers. Not all, obviously, but most are, and inly looking for one thing. The "Real" people are the ones who post, who you can see who they really are and people actually know them. Everyone I've saw post here is a great person, and id trust them all. So keep your head up, everything will work out. On top of all this, a shameless plug. If you are looking for a relationship, I made a thread in the relationship advice board. Post about you and such if you like, or go through and see if anybody fits what youre looking for ^^. Ill bump the thread so you dont have to dig.

I do think it's a good idea to have at least one real pic of yourself if you're planning on using this site to find a relationship. I understand people can be timid about that sort of thing but at least you can weed out the people who aren't interested in you if they don't find you attractive. As much as superficiality sucks it's what a lot of people base their initial impressions on liking someone or not. Better to represent who you are and not some avatar.

To Cecil's point, I do agree that having a real picture is a good thing if you're planning to get any dates. I would say it's not even so much to do with the physical attraction (though it is a part of it), but just having a face to put to the name. It's hard not to be a total stranger when no one can see your face. Avatars are cool as long as people can see who you are on your profile (where you should also have a bio of some sort). Sadly whoever it was didn't even check Rori-Hime's profile to see that she did have a picture. It's really a shame to put time into a bio or uploading pics only for someone to completely ignore them and start from scratch anyways. You deserved better Rori-Hime, so don't be discouraged.
