Just practice drawing anything, work on shading and showing 3 dimensions. Start simple and try random objects or whatever you would like to draw.

Keep practicing! Just as Neko and Blank suggested. That is honestly the only way. You can do it, I know you can! ( ´͈ ᗨ `͈ )

Well look up on tutorials on anything specific you want to draw and then practice as much as you can. Try starting off simple and then work your way up to something a little more complicated and then after you might discover your own art style.

One thing you'll find important to study and practice is perspective and proportions. If you took several high school art classes, they probably covered things like the position of the eyes, nose, mouth, etc on the head. Those are very important for getting things to look right. For body proportions and positioning, they make these little pose-able wooden mannequins that help a lot. You may have used them a couple of times in high school. In fact they can even help a little with lighting and shadows if you control the lighting with a lamp or something.

I'm not an artist but I am an art commissioner and watch a lot of streams. They are very helpful as well as just practicing and looking for positioning and tutorials. They can teach you a lot on streams as well, when I drew I learned a lot there :)

I could only say this: it takes Dedication, Practice, and Passion. Sorry if doesn't help at all, also you can watch videos on YouTube to help you out, that's what I have been doing for a while, also I'm going back to school to take Art classes. This is about all I can say to help out. Also it's good to meet a fellow Artist.

Oh also if theirs a craft store near you like Michaels or something they do offer classes for art sometimes they have a sale for like 25$ for 4 sessions and such. I took my cake decorating classes there, but I took 4 courses (all different). Maybe look into that? I know mine offers art classes and painting~
