Most obsessive compulsive thing you've done in a game?

xueli
I horde everything and try to obsessively complete/max out everything I can. I've been in the underwater submarine in ff7 for years on and off just transforming everything to like HP plus and whatever so I can max out my entire party. It's especially why I hate games with the job system. I'll never finish them. And now that the consoles have trophies, that just kinda feeds that even more...

Games that have the inventory briefcase kind of thing (RE4, Deus Ex HR)... half the game ends up being me having fun organizing my inventory. Color coded, type, etc. I don't kid that I have fun organizing it. Awkward?

Used chun li's taunt 1337 times in order to unlock my ultimate destruction form. Honestly, spending nearly 4 hours on one stage of katamari just to get it to 120 percent so that I could watch the majestic meteor fly. My sense of pride was through the roof.

Man, you guys are more compulsive than me! Well I guess I also buy video games and anime compulsively too. I have a huge backlog of games just because I purchase them with fear of not being able to find them when I have time to play them.

I spent a good four days straight on Wow, because of H-Rag. H-Rag is the boss that took the most attempts to kill while at an actual doable level (there were other bosses like original C'Thun that were just outright unkillable, but I don't include them). The hardest boss I've ever done while at an appropriate ilv... probably Kael or Vael. Kael just had so much going on in it, not to mention the first time my guild actually got past phase 4 he bugged out (it was also our last attempt for the week, so we had to wait two days before going back in to try again). Vael was a major dps race with a few tweaks added in, and given that back in vanilla a lot of players weren't nearly as good as they could've been (I know I wasn't) it made the encounter pretty tough. I completely become obsessive if I can't win after the first hour. -.-

perfectly EV & IV train my Pokemon, Hoarding everything in Skyrim and Fallout, trying to take the Perfect save pose, prolonging the battle just to listen to the music lol

Every game I start, especially those with open worlds, I always attempt a completionist run as I'm playing it, and try to find everything. For example, recently I've played through South Park: The Stick of Truth twice (and starting my third playthrough currently) and the previous two times I tried to find absolutely everything, but couldn't do (FFFFFFUUUUUUUU-). Also, compulsively, I avoid console online multiplayer like the plague. Being normally a PC gamer, I find it easier to mute players on a PC than on a console, but even then, I just HATE multiplayer. Only certain games I'll ever play online, and most of them aren't competitive.

I have to get 100% achievements/trophies on every game I play, which takes forever.
