As a person who suffers from diagnosed dysthymia and is going through a bout of double depression I completely understand.
It may be super tough but if you truly feel like you suffer from depression then seek help, the hardest part of suffering through a mental illness like this is being unable to admit to ourselves that we need help. I've struggled for the longest time to not have to take medication and go to counseling because I can no longer take care of myself healthily.
I know it's never easy but that's why you just have to keep your head up and slowly work at getting better because the change you seek will obviously not happen over night. I think the best place to start would just be seeking help first otherwise you'll only get worse and being in the state I'm in I would never want anyone else to suffer through something like this.

I'm sorry to hear that :/ yeah somedays im able to keep my head held high really good. Today is an example of that, although im slowly starting to lose that the closer it gets to needing to go to bed for work in the morning. As for seeking help, as i said in an earlier post i can't really seek professional help as my bills are too high and I am not making enough to support that, but I do occasionally talk to friends, or more recently ask people i dont even know for advice, which has turned out much better than I expected (This is the first time i've ever posted something personal like this on a forums before). Right now I think just feeling like i'm getting somewhere in life will help a lot.
