the first anime that i watched that made me cry was Chrono Crusade and like everyone else, clannad after story, also Air made me tear up, oh and toradora

No, there never was an Anime or a movie which made me cry, no matter how sad or touching. I have to say, I don’t really cry in general.

There's a few that have come close for me, but none have succeeded. Clannad: After Story probably being the most obvious. I actually make it something of a challenge. I see it coming, and then toughen myself up for it. It's when the tough guys break down that I have to try the hardest. Also Full Metal Alchemist. *spoiler* When the daughter starts talking at the funeral, I almost lose it every time.

Several, the ones I can think of atm: Madoka Magica, Higurashi, Shuffle! Angel Beats, Yosuga no Sora, Neon Genesis Evangelion, There are more that I can't recall atm.

I've come close, but misty eyed does happen with me often. Toradora, S-Cry-Ed, Gakuen Alice, Eureka 7, Wolf's Rain, FMA: Brotherhood (and the first anime adaption), heck, many of them I got close, but not full out crying.
