Can't tell if you're serious, or joking as usual. I was a little vague in the details of my original post. The comments should help further explain. But the point is, i'm talking about certain people who I won't name. There's nothing wrong with welcoming people, in fact we need more people who take the time to do so. I'm just talking about a handful of assholes who shouldn't. 8D

Whoa this topic exploded. Maverick is right about pretty much everything, also Rou does have a very good point about how Anime makes everyone have unrealistic expectations, hell there're some ppl who say Their're not attracted to real ppl. I'm like whoa that's extreme. I admit that sometimes I wished I could meet a girl that looks like an Anime girl. But I know that's an impossibility, plus I'm not too attractive myself so I have no right to judge. Nevertheless I lowered my expections drastically, but despite that I still got nothing, this is coming from the guy who's been here since 2010. Anyway I'm mainly here for friends as well nowadays. I must be rare since I'm the only guy I know here who's looking for only friends.

Sigh there is a actual philia for this on the sexual sense its toonophilia. Although for just more personality trait things yes watching anime and playing games sets up very high expectations for people depending on the person that is. After prolonged exposure if you see multiple characters doing everything right you care about you start associating that with real life and thats how real people would need to be. I will admit I do have crushes for anime but I must not let that get to me and effect my perception of reality, or moreover how I see people. Now as far as I can tell these people are usually rarer compared to the majority of otakus out there at least the extreme cases are.
