Lesbian Otaku?

It seems that a lot female anime fans take the popular bisexuality thing and run with it to look good. So I honestly can't say how many are legitimate lesbians, unfortunately.

I think to some, theyre not really lesbians to begin with or bi, its just that theyve had such a horrible experience with men that they well... you know...

Agreeing with the bad experiences. Pretty sure there are one or two contrasting factors at least in my childhood that have made me negatively perceive men.. Getting over it.. Gradually.. I hope..

Am I weird if I don't consider myself Straight, Bi or Lesbian? Sure, I have a girlfriend...but still, ;p I was attracted to her personality rather than looks. Pan-sexual right?

I thinl thats just love. I think the heart wants who it wants regardeless of gender, our heads just add that in there to make things difficult...

I "classify" myself as Bi. because i like both genders. I'd like to date a girl, just once. I may be a lesbian. But i'm at a spot where its easier to date guys. based on attraction, i'd rather date a girl. but i judge a person based on their personality. i may be starting to move away from that as i get older. ^^ I may go around and ask this in various places on here (so guys can talk and add their two cents) but as an otaku, as a girl who likes girls. what attracts you to another girl? do you have a certain style of girls you prefer? what are your interests and how do they play with what your looking for in dating another girl? and in general, how do you find out if a girl likes girls? do you have like a radar? how do you approach a girl you like in a way to show your interested? i have a problem where I fall for my friends, and usually ends in me getting rejected. So i've never approached another girl that I want to get to know, and date. I become friends with them and snoop on facebook or ask if they like yuri (i have straight friends who like yaoi) to see if they are bi or like girls. but i dont know how to take the next step without saying "hey i like you, do you like me?" in hopes that we will date. i also get really sad and this is my experience with like okcupid and in real life, where my skin color affects the way someone will feel about me. I'm trying to loose weight (i have about 10-15 lbs left to loose). but is skin color or weight a turn off when your dating another girl?
