Godzilla

Sadly, an anime adaptation might just ruin it. Unless there is fanservice and lolis with guns fighting Godzilla. You know maybe it's not such a bad idea ;) Maybe instead they could replace Godzilla with Lolizilla? But really the competition is pretty stiff. Godzilla is cool in live action, but in anime everything has to be over the top or different somehow.

I think I've seen every single Godzilla movie made, and while some are really good, many if not most are dreadful, mainly the Shōwa series although the original was pretty good for it's time. Heisei series was pretty nice, 85's godzilla was one of the best in the overall I think. I was blown away by the amount of detail put into everything. Millennium series wasin't half made either, All-Out Attack was really something else. I didn't hate the 98 Godzilla movie nearly as much as many others do and in fact I think I prefer it over the most recent movie. I thought it was kinda fun, but people sometimes seem to mistake fun with stupidity. 14's was just to drab and boring and it felt like they pulled a massive bait and switch. Not only with Bryan Cranston but also with Godzilla himself, who was in the movie for like ten minutes of screen time. It felt like just another generic monster movie like clover field.

Just watched.the new movie, didnt care much for it. Not much Godzilla or about Godzilla in the movie. Overall i think it was better than Godzilla 2000... though I wish they didnt keep cutting out during the fight scenes!!!

GOJIRA! Yes I am a huge fan of toho's greatest kaiju Godzilla. I watched all the old movies to newest ones 1954-2004, saw "king of the monsters" at like 6 or 7 then saw final wars at like 14 or 16. I even bought the DVD that had the previously unreleased Godzilla 1954 and I loved it despite having to read subtitles.
