Kuroneko-Chan It depends on the person and that boyfriend like Karasu said he didn't have the ability to cope with your situation. I would personally date a girl with a social anxiety but only if she is willing to try to help herself overcoming the social anxiety and of course I would support her when she needs it. I had social anxiety myself in the past but how I overcome my social anxiety is another story! hoho! ;)

To answer your question no I would not I have a brother with severe autisim but with that being said he was able to cure that by forcing himself to go out with me to hang with some friends I saw your pics looks like you cosplay just use that mind set for everyday life after all it takes more courage to cosplay in public than a lot of other things. I

This thread really hits home. I have Generalized Social Anxiety Disorder. Or GSAD. :) Which means I was forced into my isolated nature, and now I can't get out. Anywho, I know how you feel. I have ruined friendships because of it, had to be homeschooled, I can't even go to my graduation. But have hope! I'm sure you will grow out of it, or slowly meet someone :)

I can't say I would stop dating you because of this fact. But I would slowly, but surely, help you out of it by opening up your mind a little in my own way. The only thing I would do is try, but if it doesn't work out then that doesn't mean I would give up on love between "us" entirely. As long as I could make the person I'm with happy I would be fine with whatever as long as they loved me for who I was.

Like I said (did I?) this is not a 'would you date me' thread. I just wanted lots of different opinions, so there's no wrong answers! :) Thank you guys, and thanks to TaylorHime; I feel much less alone, hehe. ;v;
