Anyone ever been in a car accident?

I was just in one last night. Girl pulled out of the parking lot and just hit me from the side. She admits it was her fault No one was hurt but I'm not sure about my car.. it's a 2004 Jeep Liberty and I know if damage exceeds what it's worth it'll get totalled... I'm just not sure what I should do if I have to get a new car... yeah new car possibly but I'm not sure if I want to make monthly payments on a vehicle just yet. Has anyone else been in this situation?

I was t-boned by a taxi cab in February.. it sucked. My car was paid for, it was a 2001 Mazda Protege, so I don't know if I want to get a new car and have to deal with paying a car payment or anything. Thankfully I live in an area where I can just walk to everything or take public transit... and I do love to walk, lol. That's a tough decision.... IDK how much help we can all be, but we'll certainly try :)

When I was little the taxi I was in hit a girl on a bike. Was the dumb bitch her fault, if I recall correctly she was trying to cross over somewere were she shouldnt even be. ( I think a few meters before the stop lights ) Taxi driver was pro about it, immediately called 112 ( dutch 911) or whatever number he called. ( im not sure because it wasnt THAT bad. ) Only sucked that I had to walk home ( but I was close to home anyways ) but in the end the guy had to ask me that, wasnt much else what he could have done about it.

I have been involved in one when I was 12. I had glass behind my ear and the doctors had to cut my head open to put it out. I still have a few shards still there to this day... :/

I've been in a few. All I was not at fault. The money paid to me by the insurance company was not enough to cover the damages. Unfortunately I had to sell the car and buy a cheaper used one.

I've only been in one major accident. As I was going through a green, some guy ran the red light at a super high speed and I ended up t-boning him. Airbags were deployed and I ended up on the other side of the street and he went down a block and also took off the front bumper to another car. Dude had no insurance and no license. Honestly, the only thing that saved me from being labeled as fault was the fact that he lied to the police saying another person hit him which caused him to go through the light and that the women whose front he took off was slowing down for the red (they were on the same street, opposite directions. I'm the one on the street intersecting). And now I have a dashcam :D

I've been in 3. !st was in my chevy truck. I hydroplaned on a rainy day and took out 5 pine trees totaling my truck. 2nd was in my geo metro car. Small tires going down a hill and this guy had his truck parked in the middle of the road with no turn signal, I thought the guy was still going but I assumed wrong, slammed on brakes and slid under the bumper of the truck, totaled the car and his truck barely a bent rear bumper. Close to death experience to my head but only a burn mark from the airbag. 3rd wreck i had a dodge truck and it was giving me problems a while back with the lights suddenly going out at night. Then it stopped for a while. One night going home the lights went out and I hit a ditch and barrel rolled 3 times and hit a tree keeping me from hitting a guy's home. I'm just lucky to be alive. I have a scar on my leg beside my knee from that wreck where I had to get windshield glass pulled out by myself before i crawled out the passenger door. I had to kick the broken glass out. I was lucky to even be able to get out from that one. So far it's been 3 years since that wreck. I'm just so glad no one was with me when they happened.

Last major car accident I was in all I remember is Slippy coming out of nowhere demanding a barrel roll, so we one upped him by doing three. Worst week of my life. Ever. Since then I've never let anyone drive me... well anywhere. As for your situation as long as the frame wasn't bent into your tires/engine should be good. Got pics?
