ATTACK ON TITANS...any fans out there?

@zero_onimatsu Yeah, how can anyone like that awesome soundtrack, voice acting, animation, and OP sequences. Anime-only peasants. But seriously, I'm not caught up with the manga, but so far, the manga fleshes the characters out more, and it does feel darker. I prefer the more natural order of events of the anime than the time skips and flashbacks of the manga. Can you imagine if they followed the manga and flash backed right after Trost? I'd be livid.

@ffftitans Lmao thank you. I hate that kind of attitude, but always happy to see intelligent comebacks. I actually did like the flashbacks in the manga, I thought it was a bit more effective timing, but it probably would have been confusing in the anime. I personally didn't notice either of these points until later, where the anime hasn't caught up to. I was really pleased to learn more about Christa and Ymir since I love their characters =].

That's true. While the manga did leave me a bit confused being an anime-first'er, I did say it did have a stronger impact on me, especially the sudden page transition from Jean in training to Jean cleaning up a certain someone in Trost (manga felt nastier here). Though the progression of the anime version is more theatrical and probably easier to absorb for most people, so I wouldn't call it bad, just different.

^Join us in the Survey Corps--err, cosplay. We could definitely use more AoT cosplayers (srs). I want a whole con to be teeming with AoT and all the hipsters to groan.

@ffftitans - Oh that tore me up. One of the moments that I thought the flashback worked more effectively. I guess a lot of people see the manga as darker because of the gritty art style, which works for the series, but honestly I just like both equally (which never happens xD). I guess I just like certain aspects of both. Oh yes, everyone should cosplay Snk xD. I have hipster friends who won't get into it. It's silly since the series is legitimately really good. They're just missing out on all the fun!

It really good remind me of gurren lagann in the sense that neither knew much beyond the boundaries of there home. But attack on titans is much more brutal!
