She says she loves me and wants to be with me yet she still likes another guy Confused??

Ok i have bad trust issues so it's like i'm more independent on my feelings and have a wall around my heart because people i be around have betrayed my trust so i'm like fuck everything but for two years now i known this girl and we were awesome friends then i come to find out she likes me then it turned to love then i started to open up but later i realized she liked another guy because i had other problems and i wasn't giving her much attention. After that the guy she liked loved another girl and she was very hurt and i came to the rescue for her but after then i felt after awhile i was a rebound plus she still likes the guy but yet loves me i'm like HUH? My instincts are telling me don't go through with it because i have no time for someone trying to hurt my feelings because they can't get their shit together with their emotions either know you wanna be with someone or ya don't simple right?

I understand what Ur feeling. I would suggest telling her to chose one and be done. U don't need the drama and stress and forever guessing if she really loves u. It sounds like she still wants the other guy but since Ur available ah will use u until other guy is free.

Yeah, this is a situation where you really have to lay down an ultimatum. She either gets together with you, or you're done trying to be with her. People like this really annoy the crap out of me in all honesty. I get feelings can be confusing at times, but at the end of the day, you either like someone or you don't. If she remains hung up on another guy, especially one that is in a relationship with another girl, she's not worth your time imo.

It seems like shes doing that rebound thing where she knows she can have you but she wants him to want her. What will happen if he actually goes to her?? She'll leave you for him at that second, shes actually hurting you more than you realize. It's not worth it broski

I am not specifying this particular thread but most thread in general tell of immature relationships. You can love a person and not be with them. I love my ex but neither of us would ever be with each other again. The mature thing to do is the dane cook way. Look at each other and say "We're over aren't we? Well it was fun while it lasted. Love you" walk away. It may take months to recover but being someone you love friend is better than not having that person in your life at all. You shouldn't have to lay down ultimatums to make or break a relationship. Ineffective communication is what brought this mess up. Practice your communication and how to express your thoughts and feeling through non-hurtful words. "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Just tell her that and walk away.

Namnam sorry to be blunt but for me it sounds like she either trying to let you down easy because she doesent wont to hurt your feeling and will break up when the time comes or she is keeping you on the line in case her better offer doesent work out... the problem is no commitment in that relationship you are her secondary choice. I think you should have a serious talk with her how to improve this relationship and if it doesent work then she isnt worth your love bro.

You guys are right mainly with me i get over things easily tho i already got over it:p people say i have a cold heart but no i just learned how to move on i have a chain around my heart already so it doesn't hurt me to a extent. I had alot of friends betray me over the years so when a girl says she likes me i acknowledge it but i would end up pushing her away because frankly its one chance with me if someone messes up.

Well I know the feeling of betrayal, I mean what the hell being betrayed by my best friend I have known for many years since we were small. Anyway even if its hard to open up to people, you should do your best to open up to people because people will feel uncomfortable around you. :/ I ended up being alone and being afraid of people. xD but how I got better thats another story. :3

O i open up no problem its when a girl wants to get in a serious relationship with me i start to close off i'm no player or anything and i hate players to be exact but i'm afraid to give thats it.
