I'm sorry, I'm barely learning Japanese (and not doing so well) so I don't understand. :(

:) It's alright~ My fault. I got ahead of myself. I wrote that I'm fine (Watashi wa genki desu) and asked if you understand Japanese (Anata wa Nihongo wo wakarimasu ka?) then said, 'Incredible' (Sugoi!) ^_^ I can help you with learning Japanese if you wish. I studied it for a year in college and I still have all my books~ :)

I would appreciate it :) I've always wanted to learn but I'm having a tough time. My friend Eric used to be my otaku buddy and he tried teaching me but since he moved it's been hard. >.<

One suggestion I can make is to constantly expose yourself to it. Watch anime in Japanese with subtitles just to get used to hearing it and to learn the rhythm. Also, memorize the different alphabets, Hiragana and Katakana, this way you can associate the sounds with the symbols. Kanji is a bit more difficult, so we'll discuss that one later when you've got some more of the basics down. ;) A great way to help yourself get used to the sounds is to romanize all the symbols, then switch back and forth between them as often as possible. I like to write what I want to say in romanji then use the romanji to write the Hiragana or Katakana symbols. Then, when I see Hiragana or Katakana, I write down the romanji spelling. It helps me to remember them and that was a plus when I was first learning. Now I'm all rusty, so I need to practice my Hiragana and Katakana again. The romanji though has stuck with me and so has the vocabulary~^^

Otay, sounds easy enough to start off with. :) I'll start with watching Heavens Lost Property tonight in Japanese.
