I know what you mean. Fairy tail is one of the only anime and manga that actually made me feel for the characters. Like after the phantom lord arc when Lucy whent to confront her father, I actually broke out in tears of joy. Fairy tail is the only anime and manga to make me cry.

I know right! I love fairy tail. The art work is amazing and the story is great. Pluses the Creator knows his to write female characters. All lot of anime don't really know how to write women well and manly use them door sex appeal. But fairy tail actually gives more thought in its female characters and don't just use them for fan service but makes them well thought characters that can take almost any challenge that comes there way and not damsels in distress.
