Have you heard the Vocaloid song Canterella and there is a manga called that too well Canterella is an arsenic and that gave me the idea. Frist I was going to call my male vampire that but it sounded to feminine so I looked for a new name for him.

What inspired you to write it? May i ask what the setting is?

Carmilla is a novel written in 1872. It was the novel that inspired Bram Stoker to write Dracula. A novel of your own I bet it'll be an exciting read.

I've been a big fan of vampires mostly classic stories like Dracula, Carmilla, etc. All the sparkly teenage vampires really muddy up the interest. Some movies and anime still do a good job of portraying them though.
