I haven't finished the story mode but yeah, it does get a little sometimes. Taking a little break from it now. And the first Splatoon I hear is pretty similar to the second.

Hmm not too many but the biggest one right now would be Yakuza Kiwami. To put it in a gross oversimplification, it's like japanese gta. Other than that, I'd say the Metroid games, Danganronpa and maybe one or two other games.
